About Explorer Dog

Explorer Dog! was originally just a way to put some of our photos up on the web for family members to check out, and it grew from there. As new dog owners we were constantly in search of new offleash areas but didn't know where to look. Hopefully for those of you new to offleash areas you'll find this website helpful in identifying your options. You can jump right into taking your dog everywhere, instead of plodding along like we did and finding the parks piece by piece. Future plans include adding many more hikes as the weather warms up. We expect on-leash park additions to progress more slowly, because we have so much more fun visiting the offleash sites.
